Our dear, Charlie has amassed a large number of nicknames from family and friends. It seems we can't help ourselves. Things we love MUST have goofy monickers.

Sweet Charlie Names

In the short period of time that he’s been with us, his demeanor has improved dramatically. For the most part, he’s cute, funny, quirky and playful. Sometimes, he’ll sit next to you – or even on you - and hang out for a little while. We akin him to a cat… independent for the most part and bestows his favors upon you at his convenience. These are his “good boy” names:

• Charlie Tuna Pants – Charlie Tuna was a popular spokes-fish for Star-Kist when I was a kid and Charlie’s hair-do makes him look like he’s wearing britches.
• Charlie Face

• Chuckie Cheese-Head (Wisconsin roots)
• Charlie Bear
• Charles
• Charlie T or Charlie P

Darker Charlie Names

Charlie isn’t always in a sweet mood. Especially where “no” comes in to play.

• Chuckie – my brother Rick’s idea (from the hooror movie).
• Sid Vicious
• Cujo
• Snappy von Schnauzer – he snaps his teeth when grabbing for Chicken
• Jaws
• Snark - cross between a snapping turtle and a shark
